Mitt Romney knocked unconscious, suffers black eye throughout fall

Sen. Mitt Romney was knocked unconscious when he fell in Boston over the weekend, leaving him with “numerous stitches” and a black eye.

“I took a fall. Knocked me unconscious. However I’m doing higher,” Romney informed reporters on Capitol Hill Monday evening.

The Utah Republican mentioned he was visiting his grandchildren when he received injured.

With noticeable bruising beneath his proper eye, Romney infused some humor into the scenario.

“I went to CPAC, that was an issue,” the Republican lawmaker joked, referring to the Conservative Political Motion Convention that ended Sunday.

Romney was not invited to the marquee occasion after receiving backlash over his vote to question ex-President Donald Trump.

Requested what number of stitches he acquired, Romney claimed he was unsure.

“Loads of stitches. I don’t know what number of. I requested the physician what number of stitches and he or she mentioned, I don’t know, nevertheless it’s all by my eyebrow and my lip.”
